Student leaders and coordinators

Jack and Kaitlyn involved other students to make this event happen and to recruit other delegates in order to advance the event's debate and its participants. Involving other students has allowed us to increase the donations, which all go to different nonprofit organizations for social good. Below will be students that helped make ZOOMUN possible by bringing students together to better our community!

Head of Student Outreach
Mariana Pimenta
Mariana is a current high school senior at the Dwight-Englewood School. She is keen on helping ZOOMUN plan events to bring various communities together through creating social change. At her school, she is the president of the Latin X Affinity Group; through this club, Mariana is able to create a safe space for students at her school. In the first ZOOMUN event, Mariana won the Honorable Delegate award, as she displayed an admirable understanding about the works of the United Nations.

JasMIJN Teunissen

Jasmijn is a sophomore at the United Nations International School, who appreciates the leadership, teamwork and the rigorous debate that goes into MUN. At UNIS she works on organizing and planning an annual conference at the UN General Assembly Hall, which is why she’s passionate about recruiting delegates for ZOOMUN. She’s excited to see what ZOOMUN 2020 holds!
